The world of theatre is where people share. Storytellers and Plays perform to audiences “life with the dull moments taken out” (Alfred Hitchcock), putting up a mirror to us. It is in the theatre where people connect; with each other and with the larger world. The theatre confronts us, challenges us, entertains us and places us in a possible future. No other place provides us that platform of conscious learning at the deepest possible level in the shortest imaginable time. Theatre is where you can see, where you can behold a possible future.
1. Applying theatre principles to your development needs. Here, the scene is created for you to look into the mirror. The theatre-based learning expert creates the scene(s) that portray your, your group’s or your organisation’s present challenges. This scene is 3-dimensional and makes transparent what is actually going on. In addition scenes of a possible future can be created, exploring whether this vision is realistic and inclusive.
2. Applying theatre skills to your development needs. Here the expertise of theatre professionals is adapted: directing, acting, scriptwriting, light & sound support, set-designing, producing and ticket-sales.
